This is the first part of an initiative to set up a community that will allow Tideway’s employees, partners, customers (and anyone else vaguely interested in large-scale infrastructure management) to communicate in a way that is meant to be both rich, interesting and non-intrusive.
There is a lot of internal debate about what the other pieces should be and how much it’s worth investing in setting up and maintaining – but there will definitely be more to it at some point. Should we set up a forum? A wiki? A way of browsing our fingerprints and other content? The possibilities are of course many.
The reason why I mention this is that the Tideway effort is likely to mean that I will post even fewer blog posts here than in the past 🙂 If you want to know what I’m up to, just head to Tideway’s blog and see what’s new!
